Welcome to Communication Graphics!
In today’s society where there is an over-abundance of information rapidly assaulting our eyes, it is important to learn how to organize that information so that it is appealing and quickly understood. Students in Communication Graphics will explore the graphics-based principles of communication using extensive industry-standard software and state of the art hardware.
Student Software Discounts
Did you know that you can purchase education versions of industry standard software because your child is a student? Here are some links to vendors who sell to students, faculty and schools. To qualify, all you need to do is email a copy of your student's current ID card. These are education versions of regular software but are no different than the retail version except you get a better deal.
CCV Software (Best prices most of the time. I order from them)
Software that we use in class: Illustrator CS (Drawing program), Photoshop (Image Editing), Flash (Animation). An Alternative to the full-blown version of Photoshop is Photoshop Elements (scaled down version, costs less, and is more user-friendly)
